Why Afghanistan?
Afghanistan’s complex humanitarian crisis is among the most persistent and severe in the world. Millions of Afghans are enduring the consequences of four decades of conflict – made worse by economic collapse, climate shocks, and deepening restrictions on women and girls.
Since 2021, we have been providing vital humanitarian assistance in Afghanistan. Right now in 2025, families are struggling to survive. Food insecurity is rising. Access to healthcare and education is vanishing. Children are going to school without books or pens, if they’re lucky enough to go at all.
Families displaced by violence or deportation are sheltering in makeshift camps or remote mountain villages, cut off from the essentials they need to live.
While Afghanistan has fallen off the global radar, we’re still here, standing with the Afghan people. You can stand with them.

Education support with Wings2Learn
In Bamyan province, we’re ensuring children hold onto hope through education. Our Wings2Learn programme provides thousands of school children with vital learning materials, pens, books, and supplies they simply wouldn’t have otherwise. These are children who’ve known only crisis. This programme allows them to keep learning, no matter what.
Emergency Humanitarian Assistance
When families are in crisis, we step in. We’ve delivered emergency food to displaced families in Kabul, to remote mountain villages in Bamyan, and to earthquake-hit communities in Herat. Our aid reaches people others find hard to support.
