Payroll Giving
Payroll giving is an easy and tax-efficient way for employees to donate directly to ReliefAid.
For employees:
Payroll giving is a scheme administered by employers in New Zealand that allows employees to make regular donations to approved charities You can nominate to support ReliefAid and have your donation deducted (pre-tax) directly from your salary. If you donate more than $5, you’ll receive a third of the donation as an immediate tax rebate. For example, if you donated $10 directly through your pay, you’d receive an automatic tax credit of $3.33
What’s next? Decide on the amount you want to donate regularly. Then contact your payroll administrator who can email us at [email protected]
For employers:
Payroll giving is a great way of encouraging charitability within your workplace, plus it’s low cost and easy to administer. As an employer, you can match payroll giving donations, making it easy to double the donation and the impact it makes.
